About IFTTT

IFTTT is an automation service that links two or more apps with automations called Applets. You choose a trigger, pick an action and customize it, so that something happening in one service, such as a new post or a changed location, causes something to happen in another. The vendor says no code is needed.

The service connects more than a thousand apps and devices, including Slack, Gmail, Google Sheets, Discord, Telegram, Webhooks, RSS feeds, YouTube, Notion, Dropbox and smart home brands such as Philips Hue. Users can turn on ready-made Applets in categories like business, productivity, AI-powered, smart home and iOS and Android, or build their own. AI can be used to generate and refine automations.

IFTTT is a proprietary, hosted service. The vendor says automations are free to start, and plans are described on its plans page.
