About Notemap

Notemap is a mind mapping app built in Swift for macOS 14 and later, on both Apple Silicon and Intel. It is for planning projects, brainstorming, organizing research and outlining ideas, with AI available to expand on ideas and help you learn a subject.

Nodes hold rich notes with Markdown support, checklists, and attachments such as images, PDFs and files, and any nodes can be cross-linked. Daily notes, fast search and full keyboard control are included, and maps can be synced through iCloud, Dropbox and similar services.

The site stresses that your data stays on your machine with no cloud lock-in, that the app is free to use, and that Pro is a one-time purchase with no recurring fees. It lists uses for startup teams, product managers, developers, designers, writers, researchers and students.
