About Notate

Notate is a research highlighter and web clipper that works on any webpage, PDF or video. You highlight text in several colors and styles, capture screenshots of part of a page, add notes and organize them into collections with tags and filters, and for PDFs and videos you can jump back to the exact spot or timestamp.

AI features include Page Chat, which lets you chat with any page, even local files, without pasting into ChatGPT, and AI Highlights, which open a chat about exactly what you selected. Scheduled email digests bring highlights back for review, and Auto-Scrollback returns you to saved highlights on the page. Highlights sync to Notion in real time, with page or database templates set up for you, and to Obsidian. The extension works in Chrome, Edge and Brave and is free to add.
