About Microsoft Intune
Microsoft Intune is a Microsoft service for unified endpoint management that runs in the cloud. IT administrators use it to enroll devices, configure settings, deploy applications and enforce compliance policies, so that laptops, phones and tablets used for work meet an organization's security requirements.
It is part of the Microsoft Security portfolio and is built on Zero Trust principles, which treat device health and compliance as inputs to access decisions. It works alongside other Microsoft products such as Microsoft Entra for identity, and administrators can manage Windows, macOS, iOS and Android devices as well as mobile applications.
Intune is a hosted Microsoft service, sold by subscription as a standalone product or within broader Microsoft licensing bundles, and a free trial is offered. It suits IT and security teams, especially those that already use Microsoft 365 and Entra.
