About LLMToMd
LLMtoMD acts as a memory layer for AI-assisted development. It turns PRDs, FRDs, API docs, scanned specs, Office files, Notion exports and websites into structured Markdown, builds a knowledge base from them and lets coding agents in Cursor, VS Code, Claude, Codex and others search it over MCP, so project context does not have to be pasted again each session. It supports more than 20 formats, including PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, images with handwriting recognition, HTML, JSON and audio files, with files up to 500 MB deleted within 24 hours.
A scope guard records the files an agent is approved to touch, by file, folder or glob, flags edits outside that boundary along with an AI judgment of whether your stored spec accounts for them, and can stop a commit on your machine through a pre-commit hook, sending only file paths off the machine and never your code. It is available as a web app, an API and an MCP server, and you can paste a URL to see clean Markdown without an account.
LLMtoMD is a hosted service with a free plan that needs no credit card, plus pricing, docs and a blog. The homepage lists integrations including Claude, Cursor, VS Code, ChatGPT, LangChain and LlamaIndex, and supported formats ranging from documents to audio and video.
