About Lightnote
Lightnote is a notes app built around dumping thoughts into a single minimal inbox, with no folders, no formatting and no decision about where a note belongs. An AI layer tags and organizes the notes automatically into categories such as reflection, work, todo, goals, quotes and knowledge, and imports are available from Google Keep and Apple Notes.
The app then works on the notes. A note from a year ago can resurface when it becomes relevant, scattered thoughts are connected into themes you may not have noticed, and Daily Insights deliver a few swipeable reflection and task cards each morning. Live Notes are self-updating pages that summarize your notes across tags, and a Weekly Reflection is a letter that turns the week's ideas into an insight and a suggested action.
Lightnote is available as an iPhone app and a web app and is described as free to use. The site also runs a blog with guides on brain dumping, journaling and organizing notes, and the pitch is aimed at people whose notes tend to pile up unused.
