About Karma

Karma is a dashboard for Prometheus Alertmanager. The Alertmanager interface is useful for browsing alerts and managing silences but is limited as a dashboard, and Karma aims to fill that gap. It requires Alertmanager 0.22.0 or later and is released under the Apache-2.0 license.

A key feature is alert aggregation and deduplication. Since release 0.7.0 it can combine alerts from multiple Alertmanager instances, whether they run in high-availability mode or separately, showing each unique alert once. Alerts carry tags for the instances where they were found, which can be used in filters. It also supports filtering by labels and managing silences.

Karma is written in TypeScript and distributed through GitHub releases, and a public demo is available. It suits operations and SRE teams that run several Prometheus environments and need one overview of active alerts on a wall display or shared screen.
