About Juniper Mist
Juniper Mist is a cloud-managed networking platform that applies machine learning to operate wireless and wired networks. It began as an AI-driven Wi-Fi system and now spans wired and WAN assurance as well, with the goal of making network performance measurable and easier to troubleshoot.
The platform includes Wi-Fi, wired and WAN assurance services, a virtual assistant called Marvis for diagnosing problems, premium analytics, and location services based on Bluetooth LE for user engagement and asset visibility. Access points and the Mist Edge appliance connect to the Mist cloud for management.
Mist is a commercial, vendor-hosted product aimed at enterprise IT teams running campus and branch networks. Juniper Networks is now part of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and the homepage directs visitors to HPE for further information.
