Journey

Journey is a journaling and diary app that runs on Android, iOS, Mac, Windows, the web and Chrome OS, so entries can be written on whichever device is at hand. The vendor frames journaling as a route to gratitude, better health and a calmer mind.

Entries can include photos, videos, GIFs, audio and music, and the editor supports paragraph styles, bold, italics, strikethrough, bullets, tables, checklists and text color. An Atlas view tags locations on entries, with help from Google Places and Apple Maps, to build a travel journal. A calendar view helps plan self-care and track the entries a user has made, and throwback features resurface memories from weeks, months or years ago.

The vendor also offers a way to start journaling through WhatsApp. Its web page describes a free online journal, and the pages reviewed did not list paid plans.
