About Inventory
Inventory solves a narrow problem for developers who use AI coding tools: each tool saves its conversations to disk in its own format, where they cannot be searched. Inventory finds those local stores, reads them without changing them, and merges the results into one searchable timeline covering Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Zed, Kiro and Antigravity.
You can search by keyword or by meaning, which helps when you only half remember a conversation. A global shortcut opens the search box from any app. Indexing runs in the background, the index is kept private and encrypted on your Mac, and nothing is uploaded: there is no account and no cloud component.
It is a macOS desktop application for macOS 12 or later. The homepage describes a single payment of $19.99 with lifetime access and no subscription, and the site also lists docs, a pricing page and a few related tools.
