About IDrive
IDrive is a commercial cloud backup service that copies data from PCs, Macs, iPhones, iPads, Android devices and servers to off-site data centers, with every device managed from a single account. It is aimed at home users, small businesses and larger IT teams that want a second copy of their files that does not depend on their own hardware.
Beyond device backup, the product line includes a cloud drive, archiving, direct backup for Synology and QNAP network storage, and add-ons that back up cloud application data such as Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Dropbox and Box. A separate offering, IDrive e2, provides S3-compatible object storage with immutable storage, no egress or API call fees and Veeam-ready support.
IDrive is sold as a hosted service in several tiers: Personal for home and work devices, Team for small business, Business for computers and servers, and 360 Enterprise Backup for MSPs and IT departments covering endpoints, servers and SaaS data. It runs as a cloud service rather than software you host yourself.
