About Honbako

Honbako is a web app for cataloguing a manga collection. You create an account, link a Notion database made from the provided template, and enter or scan an ISBN or EAN; the system searches several sources and fills in the cover, author, publisher, genre and release date.

Books can be saved and managed inside Honbako or synced to Notion, and exported as CSV for spreadsheets or trading platforms. Planned features include a standalone local library, release alerts, gap and completion tracking for series, collection value tracking and two-way Notion sync. The site is in early access, still being expanded and translated, and has a public roadmap.

New accounts get 20 free scans, with no subscription needed to start and payment only for what you use. The aim is to stop collectors buying the same volume twice and to keep a physical collection organized digitally.
