About Homey
Homey is a smart home system that brings devices from a very large range of brands into one app. It is meant for households that want to control, automate and monitor lights, appliances, energy use and more from a single place instead of juggling a separate app for each vendor.
Automation is built around Flow, a rule builder for simple triggers and actions, and Advanced Flow for more complex logic. Other features include energy tracking, Insights for monitoring devices over time, personalized dashboards, and Moods for saving lighting presets. Official apps, plus community apps on some editions, add support for more brands and services.
Homey ships in several forms: Homey Cloud, which needs no hub and has a free starting tier; Homey Pro and Homey Pro mini, which run locally on a dedicated hub; and a Self-Hosted Server edition that runs Homey on your own hardware. Add-ons such as a bridge for extra wireless protocols extend the hardware.
