About Guidejar

Guidejar is a tool for capturing how work is done and turning it into guides. You start a capture in the Chrome extension or the Mac or Windows desktop app, click through the process, and Guidejar records every interaction as an editable step-by-step guide.

In the editor you can change steps, blur sensitive data, highlight details with pan and zoom, add AI voiceovers and chapters, create branching paths and apply your brand's design. Guides are shared by link or embedded on a website, and can be viewed as a scroll or walkthrough. A new MCP integration lets you search, view and create guides from ChatGPT.

The site groups use cases into internal wikis, product marketing, lead generation with interactive demos, user onboarding and sales enablement. It is a commercial hosted product with a free option to try, and plans are described on a pricing page.
