About GoPublish
GoPublish is a Google Workspace add-on that exports content from Google Docs straight to WordPress, replacing manual copy and paste. It keeps the document's original formatting on export and works with both the Gutenberg and classic WordPress editors.
Inside the document you can set the meta title, meta description, image alt text, category, tags and a custom URL permalink. It can generate a meta title and description with AI, compress images, create alt text and preserve image file names. Posts, pages and custom post types can be created or updated, Advanced Custom Fields can be synced, and Yoast, RankMath, AIOSEO and Squirrly receive the SEO data automatically.
Several posts can be exported at once by pairing Google Docs with Google Sheets, content can be imported from WordPress back into Google Docs, and publishing access can be assigned across a team. It is aimed at content marketers and SEO agencies who draft in Google Docs and publish to WordPress. The add-on installs free from the Google Workspace Marketplace.
