About Genlook
Genlook offers an AI virtual try-on service for fashion e-commerce. This page covers its developer API: you submit a person's photo together with a product, and roughly eight seconds later the API returns an image of that person wearing it. The same engine runs the company's try-on plugins for Shopify, WooCommerce and PrestaShop.
The API works in three requests: upload the person photo to get an image ID that can be reused, create the try-on by sending the product title, description and image, then poll the generation endpoint until it completes, use the SDK's waitFor helper, or receive a webhook configured in the dashboard. The try-on request itself registers the product, so no catalog sync is needed beforehand. Categories shown include dresses, jackets, sunglasses, hats and wigs, and API keys should stay on the server.
A TypeScript SDK and plain REST are both supported. Pricing starts from $0.015 per try-on, and new accounts receive free credits. The wider product range includes a shopper-facing try-on for stores, integrations with WooCommerce, WordPress, Wix, Magento, PrestaShop and BigCommerce, and an AI size chart marked as coming soon.
