About Focus5

Focus5 is a task app built around showing only a handful of tasks instead of a long list. A brain dump feature lets you ramble tasks aloud, and the app writes them down, dates them and files them into the right book such as Work, Personal or Health. Focus mode then queues today's tasks first, then anything still open and then upcoming items, and displays five at a time with one on screen and a clock running. Later moves a task down without nagging. The app also has an agenda, a calendar, a library of books, an inbox and insights. It syncs between the web app and the Android app, with an iOS version listed as coming soon.

Pricing avoids subscriptions: an early lifetime pack is a one-time $29 payment, with the site stating the price will rise to $49, and it includes every feature and future updates. The free tier unlocks everything for 7 days, then keeps Today, Agenda and Calendar free with 2 books and unlimited tasks.
