About Eten
Eten is a recipe, meal planner and grocery list app for home cooks. You can import a recipe by pasting a web link, photographing a cookbook page or sharing a video from TikTok, Instagram or YouTube, and the app extracts the title, ingredients, steps and cook time.
Recipes can be placed on any day of the week to build a meal plan, with personalized suggestions. One tap adds a recipe's ingredients to the grocery list, scaled to the serving size, and items are combined across recipes so duplicates show as a single entry. A step-by-step cooking view shows which ingredients each step needs, and saved recipes can be searched and filtered by cuisine, meal type or dietary needs.
The app is available on the App Store and Google Play, and recipes and plans sync across devices. Saved recipes work offline, but importing needs a connection because processing happens in the cloud. It is free to download with up to 7 recipe imports per week, and a Pro plan removes that limit and adds more advanced meal planning.
