About embedfox

EmbedFox lets you publish a PDF on your own website without sending visitors to a third-party document platform. You upload a file of up to 25 MB, get a public reader link, and add the reader to a page with one embed snippet. Anyone can try it without an account.

The reader supports page navigation, text search, zoom, fullscreen and links to a specific page. The embed uses a versioned script that loads an isolated reader and adjusts its height to the host page. Public uploads made without an account expire after seven days, while signing in keeps documents, and a paid plan allows replacing a file without changing its link.

Team workspaces and a publisher appearance come with paid plans. The roadmap on the site lists controlled delivery, with a list of permitted embed domains, previews that stop after the first pages and an email gate, plus cookie-free analytics and a publishing API, which are marked as still being built.
