About Ecwid
Ecwid is a hosted ecommerce product that lets a seller add an online store to a website they already have, or create a new store from scratch. It is aimed at small businesses that want to start selling without moving their current site to a different platform and without needing technical skills.
Beyond the website store, Ecwid supports selling through Google, marketplaces, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat and in person with point-of-sale tools. Merchants manage inventory, orders, payments, taxes, shipping, delivery and pickup from one admin, and they can extend the store through an App Market, staff accounts and a connected custom domain.
Ecwid is a commercial SaaS product with plans listed on its pricing page. The vendor states that it does not charge transaction fees, and it provides migration help for moving products and customers over, plus an academy, tutorials and a changelog for merchants.
