About Dashwise
Dashwise is a dashboard for self-hosters that gathers links, widgets and information about your homelab in one place. The author built it because no existing dashboard matched their needs, and notes that development is AI-assisted rather than AI-replaced.
Everything is configured through the graphical interface, so no config files need editing. Authentication is built in, including single sign-on through OIDC. Dashboards hold link groups and folders, modular widgets that can be moved individually, and glanceables, which are short one-line facts shown next to the clock. It also offers RSS news feeds, notifications received through push requests to an API endpoint, and a Ctrl+K search over links and integrations with support for search-engine bangs.
Integrations with other self-hosted apps are defined as YAML files that describe the widgets, glanceables and shortcuts each one provides, and a browser extension is mentioned. The backend uses PocketBase, deployment is via docker-compose, and the published image is currently built for ARM only. The latest release is a v1.0 release candidate under the GPL-3.0 licence.
