About Calk

Calk is an iPhone calorie counter that turns a food photo into a calorie entry. A scan estimates calories, protein, carbs, fat and fiber, and daily calorie goals are set from your profile and activity level.

Beyond photo scans it logs water intake, tracks intermittent fasting, keeps favorite meals for quick re-logging, and offers meal history, weekly summaries and a progress calendar. The App Store listing says results are estimates and that Calk is a tracking tool, not medical advice. The interface is available in about 18 languages.

Calk is a proprietary app from the developer Metin Arslanturk, free to download. Eligible new users get 7 free food scans, after which scans require an auto-renewing subscription, with plans shown in the app before purchase.
