Buy Me a Coffee

Buy Me a Coffee is a commercial platform that gives creators and artists a page for accepting support from fans. With a couple of taps, a supporter can pay the price of a coffee and leave a message, and creators can add memberships for their biggest fans and open a shop for products.

Creator tools include QR codes, stream alerts and website buttons, and the vendor offers iOS and Android apps. It publishes comparison pages against Ko-fi, Patreon, Kickstarter, Ghost, Podia, Gumroad, Memberful and Teachable, and it has a feature request channel and a directory for finding creators.

Buy Me a Coffee is hosted software, and the vendor states that setting up a page is free and takes less than a minute. It is aimed at writers, podcasters, streamers, artists and other independent creators who want an easy way to collect support without building a store.
