About Amazon EventBridge

Amazon EventBridge is a serverless event bus from Amazon Web Services. It takes in events produced by a team's own applications, by software-as-a-service partners and by AWS services themselves, and routes each event to the targets that should react to it, without the team running any message-routing servers.

Because it sits between producers and consumers, EventBridge helps teams build event-driven architectures in which components are loosely coupled and can change independently. It is a proprietary AWS service, available only as a managed cloud offering, with its costs described on a dedicated AWS pricing page.
