unveil.day: features, pricing and alternatives

About unveil.day

Unveil lets you build a countdown calendar as a gift. You choose the big day, such as a birthday, wedding, reunion or farewell, then compose each day with content like a photo, a handwritten letter, a voice message, a playlist, a question or a video, with 13 formats in all. You send a link, and every morning a new day opens for the recipient with their name on it.

Eight visual atmospheres, such as Mocha, Seashell, Velours, Marine, Peony, Sage, Prism and Atelier, set the look, with some included in the free version and the rest in the paid Ecrin edition. The site offers examples and inspirations, supports English, French, German and Italian, and presents calendars as an alternative to a one-off gift.

The free edition gives a full month of up to 31 days with photos and texts and any number of calendars, with no credit card. Ecrin unlocks all formats for $9.99 as a one-time payment per calendar. The site contrasts this with a typical gift that costs thirty to eighty dollars and ends up in a drawer.
