About TryAR Labs
TryAR Labs offers a 3D printing cost estimator. You paste a MakerWorld URL or drop up to 10 STL or 3MF files, set slicer settings such as infill, walls and filament type including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, nylon, polycarbonate, HIPS and carbon fiber, choose a quantity, and it returns estimated weight, print time, dimensions and cost. For MakerWorld models it fetches slicer data such as print time and per-plate filament weight through the site's API, and it handles multicolor models and additional hardware components.
For uploaded files, an in-browser worker reads BambuStudio slicer metadata or applies geometric estimates, so files are not uploaded to a server. The cost model accounts for machine time per hour, material price per gram, setup fees per plate, multicolor swap overhead, labor charges and profit margin, with bulk-quantity pricing and ten currencies including INR, USD, EUR and GBP.
Other areas include a directory, leaderboard, printer maintenance tracking and saved estimates after sign-in. The tool is described as free, uses 1 credit per estimate and asks you to verify your email, with plans on a pricing page.
