About The Threadinator

The Threadinator is a Chrome extension for people who write threads on X, formerly Twitter. It adds an Add Numbering button directly in the thread composer, and one click inserts the position and total count into every post, for example 1/14 then 2/14, through the whole thread.

The extension keeps a fixed numbering format so it can detect existing numbers and recalculate them after you reorder or edit posts. It works with text, image and GIF posts, and has an option to exclude the first post so numbering starts from the second. The site publishes guides on numbering threads and thread formatting. A free-forever plan can be used without entering a credit card, and a pricing and FAQ page describes the paid options.
