About TaoMenu
TaoMenu is a lightweight QR menu and ordering tool for small food businesses, aimed especially at places serving foreign customers, such as restaurants, cafes, tea shops and banh mi stalls. Guests scan the code, view the menu in their own language in a browser, and send an order without installing an app, while owners and staff build the menu and receive orders on a phone with no POS hardware.
Table QR codes or shared pickup codes can be printed on A4 or shared as a link, and orders reach staff phones within seconds in writing, with options and special requests. The free plan includes one staff seat, one menu language and manual menu entry, while Pro supports up to five languages with AI-assisted translations reviewed by the owner and AI help to import a photographed menu. AI dish photo enhancement is a Pro feature, and promo combos, a membership system and online payment are in development. Guests currently pay in cash or via the shop's own payment QR.
