About TalePillow
TalePillow creates picture books from one photo of a child. The parent uploads the photo, previews six character looks, from life-skill roles such as a toothbrush knight and toy-tidying captain to fantasy roles such as a dragon rider or little wizard, and then chooses the story world, role, book format and an optional idea of their own before paying for the full story. Worlds include life skills, adventure, courage, friendship, kindness, magic and bedtime.
Finished books can be read online, downloaded as a PDF to print, or ordered as a printed keepsake edition, with 24-page examples listed for ages 2 to 7. A separate reading corner offers narrated bedtime stories for ages 3 to 9 that can be listened to page by page for free. The site says photos are kept private, can be used in Vietnamese or English, and a family library lets people reopen their stories.
