About SuperPrompts
SuperPrompts moves AI system prompts out of application code into an editor. Prompts are written as named sections that can be reordered, toggled and compared, or edited as markdown, and template variables such as a customer name are filled in at runtime. Markdown files can be imported, with headings becoming sections.
Every save becomes a version identified by a content-addressed hash, like git, with comparison between versions and commit messages. Production points at one version, so a new one can be published or rolled back in one click, and apps pick up the change on the next request without a redeploy. Staging can ask for the latest version. Prompts are fetched through a REST call, a Node SDK or MCP access from Claude Code and Cursor. The site also offers a migration guide for people moving off OpenAI prompt objects, and a free way to start.
