SuperPlane

SuperPlane is an open-source system, described as a factory for one-shot engineering, that lets AI agents handle routine development work. Its job is to coordinate the coding agents, repositories, CI runs, reviews, approvals and feedback loops in a single visible place, which spares engineers from managing each step by hand.

The factory keeps assessing which backlog issues an agent can take on with high confidence, enforces identical workflow-level guardrails on every run, checks the result and sends failed attempts back to the agent along with useful context. Ambiguous work and decisions needing human judgment stay with the team. Core concepts are the factory, work orders, lines of ordered stages, automations that run agents or tools or wait for events or approvals, and runs that track execution, inputs, outputs, retries and cost.

The event history, execution state and artifacts are preserved across retries so that failed runs can resume. The engine is licensed under Apache-2.0, is written in Go with a React front end, and can run in the cloud or on premises with the models of your choice. It suits engineering organizations experimenting with agent-driven delivery.
