About SubRank

SubRank scores a video's transcript for search. You provide an SRT or VTT subtitle file, or a YouTube link, add target keywords, and the analysis returns scores for density, placement, semantic coverage, readability and structure, with recommendations such as mentioning a keyword in the first seconds of the video. The vendor calls it an analysis engine rather than a chatbot prompt.

Checks include exact keyword counts and density, presence across intro, body and conclusion, semantic gap detection against search intent, and competitive benchmarking that fetches the transcripts of top YouTube videos for the same keywords. Readability uses Flesch-Kincaid for English and Kandel-Moles for French. The tool also generates a blog article, a YouTube description with chapters, an HTML SEO page and Schema.org VideoObject markup from the transcript. It is in private beta with a waitlist; the free plan allows 3 analyses a month and Pro is 19 euros a month for 30.
