Ssabi

Ssabi is operations software for equipment rental companies. Its central idea is that a rental job lives in one live record, so quotes, change orders, inventory, live availability, warehouse picking, dispatch and invoicing all work from the same data and no one retypes details between spreadsheets, inboxes and phone calls. The aim is to avoid double bookings and gear shortfalls that otherwise show up on the day of the job.

Paperwork such as quotes, invoices, pull sheets and bills of lading is drafted from the job record, and nothing is sent until a person approves it. Screens update as events happen, for example when a quote is signed, a truck is loaded, items are picked, a transfer arrives or an invoice is paid. An executive view shows past results, pipeline, utilization and a forecast from booked work, and flags which categories of gear to buy or sell. A demo can be booked from the site.
