About Split

Split is a commercial feature management and experimentation platform. It lets teams wrap changes in feature flags, release them gradually and connect impact data so they can tell whether a software change is making things better or worse. It is now part of Harness.

Developers integrate through SDKs, and the site shows a JavaScript quickstart in which the SDK is initialized with a key and returns a treatment for a feature flag such as on, off or control. The platform combines flags with monitoring of impact data and alerts, which the vendor frames as a move to safer, faster and more impactful software delivery. A community area, SDK listings and contact options are available. Split is proprietary and vendor-hosted. A free account can be created or a demo booked, and pricing is published through the Harness site.
