About SoScripted

SoScripted converts a pasted video link into a transcript. It supports seven platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest), uses native captions when they exist and falls back to AI transcription, and detects the language automatically with timestamps. Transcripts can be exported as plain text, SRT subtitles, WebVTT, timestamped text or structured JSON.

Beyond one-off transcripts, users can save results to a library, group them into collections and search across everything by full text. A bulk import takes the profile link of a creator on X, YouTube, Instagram or TikTok and transcribes the whole catalog. For automation there is a REST API with Bearer authentication and an MCP option so AI agents can transcribe videos and read from the library. Previously transcribed URLs are cached globally, so repeat requests return instantly at reduced credit cost.
