About SoniCast

SoniCast is a web service that converts source material into podcast audio. You can upload PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint decks, text files or a YouTube link, or simply name a topic, and the AI extracts the content, writes a script and records it with synthetic voices. The result is meant for people who want to listen to material instead of reading it, as well as creators who want to publish audio episodes.

The homepage lists more than eight podcast styles, from news and storytelling to comedy and educational formats, and more than ten AI voices. Episodes can have a single speaker or several voices in an interview-style conversation, run from about five minutes up to three hours, and can be generated in more than 50 languages. Sample episodes on the page show study-oriented shows such as chemistry and calculus explainers and a literature analysis.
