About Shootmail

Shootmail is an email CMS for SaaS products. A developer sets it up once with a lightweight SDK and provider keys, after which marketing can edit templates visually in a dashboard and changes go live instantly without redeploys. It offers a library of templates for onboarding, authentication, billing and retention emails, such as welcome, trial sequence, subscription paused and cancelled and win-back.

A Notion-like builder with pre-built components creates responsive emails, templates use Handlebars-style variables filled from data passed in the send call, and emails are compiled on Shootmail's servers. The native TypeScript SDK sends through more than 10 providers including SendGrid, Resend, Postmark and AWS SES, with a queue and retries that bypass provider downtime, and live monitoring shows each request, recipients and failure reasons.
