Restore Photos App: features, pricing and alternatives

About Restore Photos App

Restore Photos App is an AI photo restoration service. You upload an old, blurry or damaged photo, pick a mode (restore, colorize or sharpen) and download the result at full resolution. It concentrates on face photos and cleans up scratches, noise and blur without changing the character or expression of the picture.

The homepage describes face restoration, sharpening of out-of-focus shots and colorization of black and white pictures, with results in under 30 seconds and no design or technical skills needed. It is meant for faded family portraits, damaged childhood photos and old scans, and the site says it copes with heavy damage and blur.

Pricing is by credit pack instead of a subscription. One-time packs cover 10 to 250 photos, credits do not expire and a 30-day money-back guarantee applies. The site compares this with professional studio restoration, which it says starts at $50 or more per image, against packs starting from $6.99.
