About Respira
Respira is a free app for iPhone and iPad that reports pollen levels and air quality for the city you are in. For each location it shows levels by allergen, the dominant pollen type and an air quality index, so people with pollen allergies can see what is in the air today and over the coming days. The Spanish-language site publishes a table for major Spanish cities that is refreshed daily.
Beyond the daily readings, the app offers a multi-day forecast, a pollen calendar by species that shows what is in season each month, an interactive map and a symptom diary that can be brought to a medical appointment. The site also has pages for specific allergies, such as grasses, olive, birch, alder, mugwort and ragweed. It credits Open-Meteo (CAMS) as the source of the readings.
The app works in Spain and 33 other countries across Europe, the Americas and Oceania, including Argentina and Chile. It is free, shows no ads and, according to the site, does not share your data with third parties.
