About Readable

Readable is a hosted writing tool with two sides. Its website copy review reads your pages in the context of a workspace that holds your audience, positioning, facts, voice, goals and proof, flags each issue with an explanation of why it matters to that reader and drafts a fix you can preview and accept, edit or dismiss, remembering your choices.

Five standalone text tools also work on pasted text, pages or PDFs: De-slop removes filler from AI drafts, a free slop check flags padding and AI-sounding text, Simplify rewrites for a chosen reading level or translates legalese and jargon, Shorten cuts length while keeping facts, and Explain defines terms without changing the text. An API, an MCP server and a CLI expose the tools, and slop checks are free on every plan.
