About Pawchi
Pawchi turns a photo of a real pet, plushie, teddy bear or action figure into a pixel-style digital companion. As you complete small self-care activities, the companion reacts, grows and unlocks animations, so taking care of yourself means taking care of it. The app says it is aimed at stress, motivation, routines and mindfulness.
Daily check-ins include mood logging and simple habits, with a habit tracker that restores the companion's happiness, calm, energy, hygiene and hunger stats. Other tools are a mood tracker with trends, streaks and heatmaps, gratitude journaling, and guided breathing exercises for focus, calm, sleep and grounding. The companion can live on your lock screen or Dynamic Island, and you can chat with it.
You can unlock more Pawchis and customize them with accessories and animations, and Pawchi Plus adds richer animations and reactions. The app is free to download with in-app purchases and is rated 13+.
