About PassportPhoto

PassportPhoto is an online tool for producing passport-style photos at home instead of in a photo booth. You upload an image or take a selfie, and the AI adjusts lighting, removes the background and applies retouching so the result meets government photo standards. The site says photos are ready in under a minute.

Output is delivered as an instant digital download at 300 DPI, which you can print at home or through recommended printing partners. The service targets passports for the UK and US as well as visas and ID photos.

Pricing is a fixed 3.99 pounds per photo, and the service is available at any time of day without an appointment. The site says there is no need for special equipment or lighting, since the AI handles background and lighting adjustments automatically.
