OwnPod

OwnPod creates a fresh podcast episode each day, narrated by AI and built around your interests. During setup you choose your goals, such as staying informed, getting inspired, learning something new or discovering ideas, then pick topics ranging from tech and finance to wellness and culture. You also set the delivery time (morning, midday or afternoon) and give your show a name that is announced at the start of every episode.

A subscription adds offline downloads, a choice of narrator voice, adjustable episode length from a quick brief to a deeper dive, and an interactive podcast mode where you engage with the episode as it plays. Episodes are marked complete after listening, and the player lists the sources used.

The app discloses that it uses third-party AI providers to generate episodes and sends your selected topics, podcast name, preferences and generated episode text for that purpose, but not your email address, payment information, login credentials or Apple account data. It is free to download with in-app purchases.
