About Overturn

Overturn is a web tool for people whose mental health insurance claim has been denied. You upload the denial letter as a PDF, a photo or pasted text, and the AI extracts the details, including ICD-10 and CPT codes, the stated denial reasons and the policy language the insurer used. You then get a free case analysis with a score showing your estimated chance of success before paying anything.

The appeal letter is written from your specific denial rather than a template. It cites peer-reviewed studies from PubMed with their PMIDs, the federal Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act and ACA protections, and the insurer's own coverage criteria. A second AI agent reviews the draft the way an insurer's lawyer would, so weaknesses are found and the letter is refined before it reaches you.

The result is a PDF ready to print, sign and send, with email delivery and filing instructions. Pricing is a flat $19 per appeal letter after the free analysis, with no subscription, and the site says it does not charge if the case is not viable.
