About ODS

ODS, the Osmantic Deployment System, converts a PC, Mac or Linux machine into a private AI server. It installs and connects the components you would otherwise assemble by hand, such as Ollama, Open WebUI, n8n, ComfyUI and privacy tools, so running AI locally becomes a single setup.

The stack covers local model inference on your own hardware, a ChatGPT-style web UI reachable from any browser, a control dashboard for models, services, setup, GPU status and extensions, voice, agents and workflows, RAG and search over local documents, local image generation, and privacy and operations tooling for authentication, secrets, observability and diagnostics. Topics mention llama.cpp, speech-to-text and text-to-speech, and NVIDIA and AMD hardware.

No cloud or subscription is required and prompts stay on your machine unless you choose cloud or hybrid API modes. The project is licensed under Apache-2.0 and is a V3 pre-release in public testing, so fleet qualification is incomplete and a pinned v3.0.0 snapshot exists for reproducibility. It suits homelab users and teams that want a private alternative to hosted AI services.
