About Namely

Namely is a mobile app that settles the baby name debate. You link with your partner by sharing a six-letter code, then each of you swipes through names alone, with your partner unable to see your choices until you both agree. When you both like the same name, the app reveals a match.

An AI name generator suggests names from your style, gender preference, origins and meaning themes, and filters cover names to avoid, first letter, length, country, origin, style and gender. Swipes sync in real time so names your partner rejected do not come back, and likes and shared matches are kept in one searchable, sortable list.

It runs on iOS and Android and is free to download. Real-time partner sync and unlimited generation of AI names need a $6.99 weekly subscription, and it can be cancelled in the App Store or Google Play.
