About MyHand

MyHand turns your handwriting into a real font file. You write one page by hand on ruled paper with a dark pen, photograph it, and the tool produces an installable font you can type with in any app on your computer. The site says the writing takes about five minutes and the rest takes seconds.

It needs no account and nothing to install, and the page states that the photograph never leaves your device. If you do not have a notebook, you can print the provided page. The site also includes a comparison with Calligraphr, an install guide and a list of questions.

The output is both .ttf and .otf files, so the font installs on a computer like any other and works in word processors and design apps. The price is a single $19 payment rather than a subscription, and the site includes a comparison with another handwriting font service.
