About Moe Memos Android

Moe Memos is an Android app for capturing quick thoughts and ideas. You write memos much like short posts to yourself, and the app can either sync with a self-hosted memos server or run entirely on the device with export, so no server is required. It is a third-party client and not affiliated with the memos project.

It offers an offline-first experience with automatic sync when connectivity returns, a Markdown editor and renderer, image and file attachments, to-do items, tags, pinning and search, a home screen widget, share sheet support for text, images and webpages, and an activity graph. The design uses Material You with dynamic themes, and the README says it collects no data. It supports specific memos server versions, with a note about a converter for newer API changes.

Moe Memos is developed with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose and licensed under GPL-3.0, and can be installed from F-Droid or from the APK on the releases page. It suits people who run a memos server and want a native Android companion, or who want a simple private note app that works offline.
