About Mochify

Mochify compresses and converts images and PDFs, and converts video in the browser, from a plain-language request such as asking for AVIF and WebP at 1200 pixels or removing a background. Presets cover cases like marketplace listings, square crops, PageSpeed targets and conversion to PDF.

The same engine is exposed on six surfaces: a web app, a Chrome extension with a right-click convert option, a direct command line tool built as a Rust binary and installable with Homebrew, a local MCP server for Claude Desktop, Cursor and other stdio clients, a hosted MCP server and a REST API. The site says image bytes stay out of an agent's context, with zero retention and video never uploaded. The web app takes batches of as many as 25 files and returns them as a ZIP, and three files are free without an account. Pricing and docs live on separate pages.
