About Mochi Table

Mochi is a macOS app for building tables such as a customer list or a hiring tracker that live on your own computer. It needs macOS 13 or newer, with Apple Silicon and Intel builds, and there is no Windows or Linux version yet. There is nothing to run on a server, and the site says there is no monthly bill.

The workspace is as easy as a spreadsheet but behaves like a database, with grid view, filters, sorting, grouping, rules, columns and search. AI tools can work in it with you: Claude, Codex and OpenCode can read and write every row through MCP and a command line interface.

Mochi works offline, and your edits reach teammates when you are back online. The site says your data stays on your machine unless you choose to send it out, and it offers templates, a changelog and documentation.
